Sure thing! Those new rims look excellent!! A nice black crest will make them really nice!
I'm still partial to the Twists - I now have a set of 18's, and a set of 17's! But those sport rims are sweet - what do they go for?

Thanks! I took the black caps off of my turbo twists today. I also repaired the two broken colored caps.

My car might be running with colored caps until Wednesday - just looks wrong. I dropped Sunset a note to inquire about buying a second set.

I just just put the black caps on the Sport Design wheels and they look incredible together.

I'm with you on the thought that colored crests look wrong! Maybe they look better on darker cars, but to me, the mono-chromatic look of black and white or black and silver is much more pleasing to the eye than the look of colored crests.

YMMV, of course.

I think that you're right. The only exceptions I can think of where the colored crests might look good would be yellow and red.

I just swapped into my winter set yesterday - turbo twists, just like yours! I like them but not a s much as my Classic IIs.

I love those ones you bought. They look very "refined". Can't wait to see them on!

Used I've seen them as low as $800 and as high as $1200. I bought mine for $1000 + $300 of shipping and other charges.

I think I saw 3 sets for sale in the last year and jumped on this last set as an early christmas present.

I like your Classic IIs also. It was hard to select the right wheel. I was looking for something stylish, but not too ricey.

As for photos... hopefully we'll get to see how it looks on Wednesday.

I'm running out of mods to do... I thinking tints and exhaust tips might be the end to this madness.

I read your comment outside the context of AndyK's post.

Damn, did I sleep through the afternoon snack of milk & cookies again?

Sorry but, colored crest is the way to go, that small detail is not gonna contrast against the color of the car, its gonna contrast the color of the wheel. Its awesome with the silver wheels! Itll look great with any color car!
