Default Radar Laser Jammer Install in CA

I am getting '02 996 C4 Cab in the LA area next week. I want to have a discrete radar and laser jammer installed before I ship the car back to Canada. Can anyone recommend an installer and/or a good place to purchase?

I posted this in the Western US Region, but it didn't look very active so I thought I should post it here also... not sure if how these forums work yet? Still new.

I live on the east coast but... I just had the K40 "Calibre" installed in my new Audi S6, alnog with laser defusers (front/rear). It's very discrete, only two blue LED's showing on the dash. Seems to work well as compared to my V1. I really don't know how effective the defusers are, but I guess I'll find out. I use the V1 with the remote display in my Pcar, mounted up high to the right of the mirror.

No such thing as a legal radar jammer. Laser yes. Radar No. Laser jammers aren't 100% effective either.

Wow, that's the exactly color combo I wanted but settled for the triple black. Anyway, if you go to company's website, Escort, K40 etc.. they have a list of dealers on the site.

Taking into consideration the reason we all have these devices makes you question why anyone would be concerned about the legality of any of them.

Well passive radar jammers don't work. And to block radar with an active jammer you need to broadcast a signal which is against FCC regs.

Sure, and it's against state law to exceed the speed limit, but I'm not sure anyone cares.

Hey, *I* sure didn't say that. I only use my Valentine 1 to make sure I know where the cops are in case an emergency arises.

None of the major brands provide active radar jamming (Escort, Uniden, V1, K40, Bel), while they provide lidar jamming. There is a reason for this, and I presume it's because the penalties for having an illegal broadcasting device is probably more severe than a speeding ticket.
