Sweet! Looks MUCH better. Are you going to use the old e-brake handle as a fireplace iron this winter?

Like night & day. Much nicer. What did you pay for the new setup, and where did you but them.

Looks great.

I recently installed the Carbon shifter, and wow - that thing is very high quality and is nicer than I was expecting. Next on the list has to be the e-brake for sure.

I got them from Suncoast Porsche $395 for each piece (just over $800 total) The hand brake is the whole assembly however. I would have paid more. I hated the wood.

Way nicer! However, I assume someone with a beige interior would like the wood accented shifter and e-brake handle. Wood just doesn't work with red exterior, or black interiors.

Is there anybody that makes replica shifters that don't cost and arm and a leg?

I saw one that looks the same on ebay for $99...not sure if that was the opening price with a higher reserve though.

PS--John - you have one clean interior! Your carpet looks brand new!

John - now you need some aluminum pedals (there is a Group Buy going on in the 993 Forum) and some Aluminum Gauge Rings. They will help break up the black a little and compliment the other Aluminum Look pieces in the car.

Stupid question: It looks to me like swapping the shift **** is a breeze. Is it?
