Default For Sale: '04 996 C2 @ Trade-In Value

Anyone interested in an excellent, no accidents 2004, garaged, 996 coupe for $48,900k with 23k miles? It's arctic silver / black, full leather seats, Bose, aluminum/leather shifter & brake, full power seats, 6 CD, and a few other notables. Needs nothing and has new brake pads, rotors, tires, fluid changes, air filter. It absolutely needs to go. I'm looking for a much older Porsche and need to buy my wife a car. PM me if you are interested in details. I got an offer from an out-of-town dealer at trade-in and wanted to offer it up to anyone interested here before I decide to take it. PM if interested.

Is it fair to assume you're not going to return the suspension to stock???

BTW, can you bump your price up to $55K+???? I'm having a tough time coming to grips with the thought that the fair market value of your car is only $48.9k.

I've got an 89 944. It's much older than 2004. We can trade and we will both be happy.
You could let your wife drive the 944, too, and you would be totally set!

I had the car put totally back to stock; suspension, mufflers, all of it. It is worth considerably more and I hate to undercut the price because it's worth at least mid $50s if you look at prices from the dealers on comp cars. It must/will go so I thought I would allow rennlisters to have an option to buy it at the same price rather than turn it over to the dealer who will simply make a profit (and mark it up to the prices you mentioned).

I'm sure you have a nice 944 and I appreciate the offer. I'm looking for a '92 to '94 964 coupe and would consider a trade for a good one. I've enjoyed the 911s so far but they are all great cars.

BTW, the RMS was done on this car if that matters to anyone. It was not leaking and the local dealer had just been authorized to do the new RMS (same fix) for the 997 Carreras as they have the same problem. He said Porsche is using the newer fix on the later model 996 cars. I have very good relations with the dealer and they offered to put it on the car while it was in the shop for service. Having been done under warranty they said it would be covered out of warranty if there was an issue but there should be no foreseeable problems.

It's clean, no crashes, excellent condition. I'm just ready to get rid of it.
