Default Glass sunroof?

Does anyone make a glass sunroof for our cars? Trading a coupe for a targa isn't an option, but I was thinking that a tinted glass "moon roof" might be a nice addition. It would look slick and let a lot more light into the interior.

I did some searching, but couldn't find anything...

This is a good thought, especially if you can have a shade installed with it too. I will like to know if anyone has heard of this.

I think he just wants to replace the metal sunroof with a glass moonroof.

That's right -- I'm thinking of a glass panel that will fully replace the metal roof and a plastic trim piece to replace the interior cover. I'd want a direct replacement, so I could put the metal one back in if I ever wanted.

2 of my other cars have glass sunroofs and I never use the sunshade... So, for my needs, I wouldn't need a sunshade on the 911.

So, I'm assuming nothing like this exists. I wonder if I could make a kit...

This would drastically reduce aerodynamics!! Glass has 76% more drag and resistance than cleared paint! Are you looking to reduce power between 4-7 horses for as much money as possible?

Glass roof = more drag than sunroof open?

So, by this logic, the Targa model would have a much lower top speed and 0-60 times?

I'd be all over one. I do not care about increased aero drag...I'm not doing any land speed racing.
I've got glass sunroof on my E46 BMW coupe and its really nice to have. Van its a great idea.. and the light and open would be a great enhancement.
yeah make the kit ...
