My new 02 coupe has 993 turbo style wheels....they have to go. I think I want either the factory 5 star wheels or GT3 wheels (if I can find any)

I have five star wheels off my 996 that have Michelin Pilot Sports on them. I had a dash fire and the car was totalled out so I took off my good wheels and put a set of turbo twists on and sold the car to Mfletch.

If you're interested in the wheels...they're boxed up in my garage. I can probably find a picture of the car with them on it if you'd like to see them.

Are you being sarcastic? Cause some people think they look cheap. Personally I like them and have a set of Turismos on my 996.

 

I think Turbo Twist rims are the best looking Porsche rims EVER, IMHO. Bridges the line from 993 to 996, and the rounded twist pattern goes with the rounded lines of the 996. They are the only rims that look fast standing still!

To each his own, I guess.

 

don't mean to thread hijack but what do u guys think looks better on a pre-facelift 996. the old 993 style twists, or the turbo 2's (new style twists from 2002-2k5)

 

I like the new style twists from 2002-2005.
