Default Updated MAF reprogramming cost

Hi Folks,

Does anyone know what is the appropriate amount of labor time to charge for updating the DME or ECU for the updated MAF? I bought the new MAF but its a updated boxter part #98660612501. I am currently running the original 99660612400.

Thanks in Advance

I can't get IE7 to give me the thread link so I had to rip it into a JPG as a attachment. Rountreed mentioned it several months ago under "MAF purchase" and I am experiencing it. Maybe its because I am buying it through autohaus arizona?

Why not just call your dealer and ask?

Will call the dealer and get an update for all. I thought perhaps someone on the forum would already possess the knowledge and be kind enough to share.

So much good information, and great people here. It would be appreciated if you let us know what the cost is.

The correct part number for a MY00 Carrera is still 996.606.124.00 -- and the part is still available.

Not trying to throw anyone for a loop. There is an updated MAF for 00 but requires your computer to be updated or whatever. Yes you can buy the older style Loren has above which is what I did. Sorry for any problems.
