Here is the mixed look, but with pre facelift headlights. You can kinda get the sense. Although not perfect, they are not an obvious mismatch to the casual observer.

Another related question here....I was assuming...but figure I will ask to be safe: Will the MKI rear aero spoiler and front aero bumper fit up to the MKII 996 C2 (2002)?

Thanks for the pictures guys, they really help. Nice looking cars too!

RBJBBB: Do you another picture from the side you could post?

Anyone else with mixed factory aero kits?

BK,

I amended my earlier post to add the side view.

Front bumper cover will not fit. Headlights are different. Taco rear wing will. Mine is mixed in that I did not put the GT3 wing on but used the Cab Carrera wing.

Steve - I have always liked the look of that wing, even if it is red!

Haven't "seen" you around here much lately! Have you been racing your "new" tomato?

Thanks Tim No, actually I fell off the trailer unloading it and almost broke my leg. It has been a long 3 weeks since it happened but I am doing much better. Will be racing the Fiat next weekend if they have to lift and slide me into the car though The Alfa will not be ready until next year but we have started spending money...which means that its time to close your eyes and don't read the Amex bill

Hate to bump an old thread like this, but was fitting the cab spoiler difficult? Any advice? I do like the way that looks, don't like the taco

Nope, not hard at all. Just take your time and follow the directions....which you WILL need. I don't remember where I found them. Maybe here or on renntech.com??

Do you happen to have a shot of your car from the side (profile) you could post?

I'm searching for the instructions here on rennlist as we speak

Beautiful. Did you paint yourself as well or did you manage to buy it painted? Do you remember where you got the part?

Oh no, I had everything painted and then I installed. I bought each piece some where different looking for deals. Skirts Brandywine, bumper cover a guy in the midwest and the wing from EBay. Worked out well as I started looking and had all the parts rounded up within a month.

Well it's very balanced looking kit, and I really like the profile of that wing.

Now, is the wing the old ('99-'01) Cab Aero kit wing or is it the '02-'04 Carrera Aero (I'm sure I got that name wrong, hard to keep up with all the different versions) or another one?

Quick Reply: Is there a different front bumper on aero 2002?
