MAF purchase
I'm in need of a MAF for a 2000 C4. Can someone direct me as to where I can locate one? I don't want to go to the dealer because I know their prices are crazy. Also, once I get one, is it just a simple replacement, or does it have to be calibrated. thank you

You'll need a Torx security bit (available at practically any hardware or home improvemeent type store) to do the R&R.

Yes, I've cleaned it twice. The first time I triggered a 1128 & 1130. I cleaned it and the codes went away. I noticed about 900 miles after cleaning it, I started getting a pms and anti-lock lights started triggering on the dash. I cleaned it again and now I'm getting 1126 & 1133. I'm thinking about going the new MAF before taking it in.

Just make sure you get the correct part number. What I discovered was that they introduced a new updated MAF which is great other than it requires Porsche to update your engine management for a cost. I did eventually find the correct older part which cost slightly more but required no update. I did clean my MAF and it has worked great for the past 250 miles so I have a MAF for when it eventually goes out.

Two fiddy (with e-gas) at AutohausArizona,
I think you might need the tamper proof torx bit and not the standard torx bit, but don't quote me on that.

I printed out the cheapest price on the internet then took it to my local Porsche parts department where they matched the price.
