Default Replacement of Cassette Holder

I have Cassette holder fitted, which given I am going to install a new radio/CD/MP3 system, I no longer need. I do not want the put a CD holder in its place since I will be using my I-Pod as a music source. Any Ideas what I could replace it with ? Are Cupholders available to fit this aperture ?

There is also a cubby hole that you can purchase to store items in. My cup holders are right below the vents. You could put cup holders there but they would have a weird tilt. What is your set up like now?

I recently pulled out my cd holder and put an upper storage shelf in there - Sunset Porsche $25.

At the moment I have (top to bottom)vents, climate controls, radio, cd holders then open storage. - it sounds like a second open storage will be the way to go. Thanks for the advice

let us know how the install goes and maybe some pics. I have a 99 so my set up is different. It goes (top to bottom) vents, cup holders, deck, cd holders, climate control..... Good luck deciding.

Second cubby definitely - I recently did this. It took maybe 10 minutes and cost me about $35.00 for the part. Very useful and probably the cheapest and easiest Porsche mod I've done.

How hard would it be in a 99 to switch it all around, so I can add the sliding cup holders instead of the fat pop outs and to move the ac controls...... Has this been done.....
