Have you thought about getting a second opinion from a professional. You know like a PPI. Do you drive it spirited and therefore expect something to malfunction?

Guys, I don't expect my engine to blow any time soon.....just the opposite. It runs great and i hope to own it for at least 5-8 more trouble free years. I was just giving some posters some **** when I did my original post. I love this site and yet I hate this site. Our 996s values have been taken down alot primarily because the scare tactics here. The 996 is a much better car than the 993 and the 964 before it. Engines just don't blow....RMS is just an oil leak....not the end of the world......come on guys lets start talking our cars up not stop tearing them down

not inferior....just not as evolved as the 996. I heard how the earlier cars are so RAW.....I dont want to drive a RAW car....have fun with your "original" 911 cars....
