Aw come on! The Pepper wasn't doing it for me. It wasn't exactly the best tow vehicle and with the baby coming soon we decided to get something that would tow with ease AND actually feel like we are getting our 70K worth when driving. In the Caddy you get that as it wraps you in luxury but the Pepper was full of plastic and NO luxury. I have never been a fan of Escalade's but the all new re-design is fanastic.

Maybe the 22" chrome wheels are a bit excessive but Yo! that's how I roll!

Dell, I totally understand. You tried Pepper, so I guess you also wanted to try "salt." Yeah, I know, it IS a bit of a stretch, but I have had only one cup o' Joe so far this morning.

My 15mm spacers are made by Porsche. They came with the studs mounted on the spacer and I used the original bolts to mount the spacers to the hub.

i'm sure i won't win the popularity contest here ... but fellas, spacers are nothing to post pics up about and brag about esp when you're running stock wheels on stock suspension. now if you decide to lower on stock wheels, then maybe yea it does make it look much better, but still you're running on stock wheels (Zzzz).

-as you can see in the red c4s, if you're not lowered somewhat less than conservatively, it's going to look whack... jeep style. you can see that the stock wheels jut out at what looks to me stock height (check the gap)

-who cares if porsche runs them... runs them on which 911 out of the factory? so you're going to then refer to their race cars. there are a lot of things about their race cars that have nothing to do w/ your street 911.

-if you guys are using spacers with aftermarket wheels... ferdinand help u. that means u bought ill-fitting wheels in the first place. proper fitment wheels have no need for spacers to make it look flush to the fender.

996's with Sport Techno wheels used spacers from the factory.

Can you share pics of the 15mm spacers on your car?

This thread is from 2007. Here is a newer thread if you want to discuss spacers -> https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...cers-15mm.html

Could you help a brother out and post a driver side picture showing the space between the tire and the fender liner (where the fans push out the hot air) with the wheel turned all the way to the right. I put 15mm on my lowered c4s and the space is like a 1/4”. Made me pull off until further info obtained. I was afraid it would make contact some how. I have 18x8’s in the front.

I was inspired and threw the 15’s on the front (already on back). Hopefully nothing rubs.
