I was removing the door panel the other day, and this small metal clip-piece fell off from somewhere. It's about 1-1/4 inches long.
I looked everywhere behind the door panel, but can't seem to figure out where it might fit, or if it even belongs there!?
I am hoping that some of you more experienced people will recognize it at first sight!

Hey Cosmo!...wow...that's a large piece to not figure it's place. I guess you can try to find interior diagrams of the door guts? Or, worst case.....uncover the other side and see where it sits there?

It could be the release handle for the rear parachute! Sorry, I couldn't help myself!

Seriously, is there a part number stamped on it?

Jon, it's not really big as the pic may suggest. It's only about 1-1/4in.

Tim, there's no part number on it, it's just a small piece, like a clip.

I'm thinking it's probably a clip to hold one of the cables down onto the back of the door panel.
Maybe the door release cable?
