As long as they do it efficiently and fast it's irrelevant how they do it.

Interesting...First time seeing vortex generators on a Porsche. At least his wing is high enough to utilize them.

U-Boat UPDATE:

It's still running strong with very minor issues.. stock IMSB and the clutch/RMS was replaced at 50k by Porsche of Colorado.

I'm up to 85,000 miles with over 10 track days including Laguna Seca in 2014.

Video of running at Fontana in 2015.

When we had the transmission out to replace the AOS the bearing looked fine.
I've been changing the oil every 5k miles and plan on updating the IMSB once I'm due for a clutch again.

U-Boat Timeline Update:

Once Arr0gant retuned the car it then traveled from Texas to Colorado with 35k miles.
That owner drove it up to 58k miles... where it was then sold and ended up California in 2013.

March 2013 someone purchased it from Porsche of Rancho Mirage with 59,456 miles.
September 2013 I purchased it with 61,000 miles from Executive Image Auto Group in Colton, CA.

What a thread. I often wonder of what's become of some of the cars I onced owned. I've put a lot of time and sweat equity into so many... would be interested to know what of that was maintained or forgotten about. Crazy to hear that this one had such a rough early life and is/has been a track performer. Crazier still to hear that Porsche sold this car a few times over, but i guess it's just a lack of due diligence given it has a clean title. Thanks for the update -- I'm about 80mi away from 100k on my new to me C4s, wonder what stories could be told about it, lol.
