Default FS: brand new EVOMS V-Flow intake

I am having excellent luck with my first generation evo intake, so I going to sell the EVOMS V-Flow that I just bought. It is brand new, never installed or opened (in fact I don't even have it yet- fedex tracking says it will be here monday !!)

If there is anyone here that doesn't know what this is, here is a link to it on Evolution Motorsports' webpage:

Carrera V-Flow Air Intake

As you can see, it is $595 on their website. If someone wants mine, they can have it for $495 (plus shipping or pickup around Atlanta, GA) Save $100 on a brand new/never opened unit.

Also, can someone confirm that this is the same unit for the 997, so that I can x-post it over there?

TIA

That is an excellent deal. If I didn't have a new one already, I'd be all over this one. Someone is going to get a bargain here....but there may be just a (little??) more room for negotiating??

Ted, the one on my 996 came off a 997. The mounting bracket is different. It's not necessary and the correct one is about $15 from EVOMS. Good luck with the sale, I'm glad mine worked for you.

Is this still available?

I noticed this uses the K&N filter preparation system. Did you have to replace your MAF with this sysyem?

Pat- no one has claimed it yet.

No need to change maf, and if you do a search on here you will see that everyone has been very satisfied with the v-flow.

Did you get my e-mail?
If not, don't fret. My companies virus blocker holds stuff up for a couple of hours. If I haven't heard from you by this afternoon, I'll send you my cell number.

Ted - glad the evo is working out for you. Nice to know that two of us have no complaints with it.

Just got back from SharkWerks...Alex put a new EVO CAI in for me...and a GIAC reflash...and it feels so much better. Smoothed out my idle and gives me a very linear feeling upon acceleration. Got a bit better gas mileage too.

Thanks Alex....and James of course. James doesn't get nearly the exposure he deserves. You folks are always VERY professional and personalble fellows.

Be aware that the Evo unit for the '99 model 996 will not fit the '00 or '01 models. I believe the reverse is not true, and can't comment on other models.

as of right now she's bone stock. need to do something to spice her up a lil bit. ie intake and exhaust. dont really want to get into having to reflash CPU mainly due to the fact i dont know of any shops in my area yet that do it
