With regards to the gray/metropol blue carpet interior... today I had my graphite gray console repolaced with a black one. Me and the wife both thought it would break up all the gray, as well as wear better... picking up car tomorrow. (i have seen many beige interiors with black consoles, looks good) Ross

But it wont match your grey steering wheel, right Ross?

i have graphite gray and it has held up well. scuffs and scratches are hardly noticable. plus, i think black gets way too hot.

Correct... wont match the steering wheel. But i think a black wheel on a non black interior looks very strange... someone here has a Boxster red interior with black wheel, not a fan...

Don't know if this is helpful, but here's my 50,000 mile/3 owner graphite interior. The car is Ocean Blue. I couldn't stand the sea of grey inside, so I went to black mats, changed the steering wheel to something less monolithic and added the non-smoker tray to break up the console. To my very conservative taste, it was an improvement. Sorry for the crap cell phone pix...

Default I like Graphite Grey

It hides the dirt and dust real well. My interior is a little monochromatic, but I am adding aluminum pieces to mix it up. Here is a 5 year old 55K mile interior.

I have the Space Gray interior.....I love it. It's dark, but not too dark. It seems to me that it's a good alternative to a black interior.

Actually three! There is Space Greay, Graphite Gray, and Classic Gray (which I think is on the MY99 only).

One more, if you count the "Natural Grey" -- but it looks almost black.
