Default Cabriolet rear side window trim

I was washing my car today and cleaning the interior too and noticed that the felt covered rubber trim on the leading edge of the rear side windows is looking pretty worn and slightly faded. Has anyone replaced these? I think I remember seeing these in an aftermarket Porsche parts catalog and they were quite reasonable in price.

I'm curious if they are easy to install as a new set would really look nice on my car. This is the only area that really shows more than average wear probably because I raise and lower the top a lot.

Hard to do on your own, you have to cut away the old ones, they are glued.
I got a quote from a Porsche dealer, $150.

I recently changed mine, that is if I am thinking of the right part. Its an easy change, you just need to pull of the old rubber gasket and replace.

Here is the item numbers from Pelican parts

Item Name Item Price Quantity Item Total
--------- ---------- -------- ----------
OEM-99654361603 $10.55 1 $10.55
B-PILLAR GASKET
- This is a special-order OEM part and is non-returnable except for
warranty replacement.

joesmoe, how did you pull them off?
I sort of tried but found mine glued on quite hard. Would have to cut them away.

Anyone have more installation information for the Cab Window rubber gasket? The gasket seems to be in place very tight. I am not sure if I can get it back into place without removing the window.

I agree, can't figure out a way to get it back on without removing the rear windows.
Not to mention how hard it seems to get the rubber off!
