Default Any interest in selling your PSE?

Just throwing it out there but is anyone interested in selling their PSE for any reason? I will trade you with my stock cans and pay the difference. I believe the word of the day is Residual Value.

I was just talking to the guys at DPS motorsports about a set of cans I purchased on ebay, and the guy, Dayton I think his name is, said he has a pair of used PSE's for $900.

I may sell my 99-01 996 PSE if i can find the right 997 in the next 3-6 months... is that too long?
Way cheaper than $900 too.

I dont think so.
I seem to remember the 02-onwards version of PSE fits on all cars, but the 99-01 PSE is only good on the 3.4's

I know, but I really want the PSE? I am still going to do the mod until I find a PSE for the right price. I sent you a PM. I am going to do the MKII mod on Sunday.

i did the 3.6 muffler exchange with bypass, and it is fantastic.
take off new mufflers, pipe and labor-650 all in.
sounds like pse or even more like a 997, real raspy. big grin on my face.

Bob, I too love the 3.6L MKII mod but I can tell you that it does not sound like a PSE and I have put the two together. The PSE has a lower growl and is more obvious even at idle. Don't get me wrong, the MKII mod is great and I love mine, but if someone is fixed on getting the PSE I can fully understand why.

IMHO...if I was to change the exhaust, which I have no plans on doing, I will change the entire system (i.e. headers, cats, mufflers, tips). Sure that is pricey but it is a complete system.

PSE rules! I've heard the aftermarket offerings and they all tend to sound the same. The PSE still stands out from the crowd. Good luck.

I have the MKII, it sounds great and most of the time it sounds almost identical to the PSE, but not always! It was a great temporary mod to hold me off till I find the real deal at a good price. I highly recommend the MKII mod, it is cheap and easy, but if you want the real thing nothing can compare.
