Default Horn Repair

Just got on Renntec (thanks Loren) and was reading about the repair. One ?? I had that was asked on the forum but I didn't see the answer; maybe because it was a dumb ?, but here goes; Does the horn have to be removed to repair the bushings? If so, how do I keep the airbag from going off or are there any other precautions I need to be aware of? Is there a DYI for horn removal? Understand, I'm a novice at the repairs stuff but a willing student.
