After posting pics of my new to me 996 I followed advice and acquired a pair of the euro clear side markers. I've read that it's a 10-min install, but is that for a mechanic? It is not obvious to me how much I need to dis-assemble. Any BTDT? Thanks,

2 minute install. I'm no DIY'er, but if I can do it, so can you. Literally, snap out the amber lenses, reconnect the leads, and snap in the clear lenses. There are many posts with pics on exactly how to do this without damaging the surface of your car.

I just did the same thing....but I'm still waiting for my car to arrive. Apparently....look in the manual for bulb changes....and the instructions are there on how to snap the light out without causing damage.
