Brad, your diagnostic on the code differs from my CEL code list - is there a difference based on year of manufacture?

Check the wiring if it is okay you need a new sensor.

I was interested that you guessed coolant temp sensor, as this car is also showing as running hot - i.e. above 180F at normal road speeds.....
