New AC jack group buy
#17
Not sure 7 of us is enough to see a worthwhile discount... I'll give it until next week to see if we have other that might be interested.
Apparently the weak dollar (this is a Danish product) and switch to a new US importer has caused these jacks to go up in price around 60% in the last year or two. And apparently our best shot at discount is single drop shipment (we don't pay anny freight in that case). Guess I REALLY should have bought one of these a few years back when I was looking.
Anyway, as mentioned, we'll wait to see whether more folks are interested.

The DK20 matches the DK13's low height of 3.14" but it will 'bind' under the car much sooner than the DK13. Not a problem if you are using the normal jack points but, if you are putting it on jack stands, the DK13 works much better.

Sorry everyone, but this is looking like a bust with less than 10 takers.
Perhaps we can take solace in the fact that the potential for discount really has waned recently and the only way we would see anywhere near 20% in discount was going to be drop shipment, but that requires everyone be in the same geographical area to avoid the $80 shipping cost.
If this thread picks up, I'll be happy to step up again and coordinate, but for now, maybe the Ranger knock-off of the AC is worth considering. At only $250 shipped, I might just do it.
