Default "Cop magnet" colors versus "stealthy" ones?

I've never usually considered colors such as yellow or bright red for a daily driver, as I suspect they would tend to attract more attention from the police in any given situation. How true to you think this really is?

Also, what would you consider the most "stealthy" colors? I'm thinking maybe silver, black or blue.

Any officers on this board who can speak from experience?

As the cop checked my UK driving License after pulling me over in AZ in the guards red 986

'Don't you know that this car, in red, just makes it look like you're speeding.......'

So far, midnight blue works pretty well...
Then again, I got pulled over in my last car which was a black Saab 9-2X, so dark colours are no guarantee

Not being able to stay in one lane and go with the "flow of traffic" in any car, I've never been pulled over in my Guards Red 4S w/ only 3 months of ownership.

True, I got stalked yesterday by CHP on 5 in my black/black 996

He spent a deal of time pacing me from the slow lane, 'hiding' behind other vehicles etc etc

Then decided to do the intimidation piece by zooming up to my rear bumper and sitting there for two minutes before eventually driving off after a speeding Mercedes.

LOL

I haven't run into any problems so far, any color can honestly be a cop magnet dependent on your driving really.

I drove a red sport car for years without issues. A CHP vehicle will often tail me for a sec then drive off. The one time I drove a yellow rental station wagon I got promptly pulled over for speeding even though I was speeding 'within the pack'.

In my blk 996 going 80 (65 limit), a motocycle officer pulled up alongside me...I thought I was getting a ticket for sure, but he just gave me a thumbs up wave and sped off.

It doesn't matter what machine I am in, I get pulled over. It has gotten so bad that the state just sends me the tickets and asks me to sign them and send them back. There is a note inside that says, "We'll fill in the speed later".
How does color matter when your car is likely going faster than the others around you?
