The Ruf is a great option because it's designed for the 996. I've never been a fan of pretending to be another car year and I definitely think that it would impact resale value to some degree, esp. from purists who would pay higher dollars.

Not my style either, but what the heck! Has anybody here had experience w/Xtreme Motorcars conversions?

Uhhh...pasadena.

For me, that's approaching the outskirts of Poserville. But then my car is totally stock, except for the clear side markers.

I would be concerned that the kit is poor quality and would crater the resale on the car.
