Default Spacer's ?

Who has them, is a wider stance and more stability the only reason ? and how do you decide on the size ?

TIA - was thinking of adding ?

I have 15MM al around....it just looks better...I read that it doesn't make the car drive any better...but I don't track, so couldn't tell the difference anyway

You could also get wheels with different offsets. I have 18x10s in the rear with an offset of 40. It really fills out the wheelwells and gives a wide stance.

Eibach and H&R make/sell spacers. Both are listed on this page with instructions on how to measure the amount of room available between your wheel/tire and the inside of your fenders to help you determine the appropriate size of the spacers.

Thanks - or should I just consider wider wheels for a better stance ? How do you go about figuring out what would it a '99 996 C2 without making any modifications - just a simple swap ?

They don't necessarily have to be wider to change the stance. You could stay with the same width and get wheels with dirfferent offsets.

Here is a link to play some "what if...." games.

Hey Nicolas, do you have more pics of your car? I am wanting to add spacers to fill out the wheel well more but I'm not sure if I should go with 15mm, 10, 13, etc.

Related note, can I go with 14 or 15mm spacers all around if I have stock 17" wheels? I don't think there'd be a problem but you all are the experts.
