Default CEL code p0102, now it doesn't idle too well

Recently my 99 c2 check engine light came on. I plugged my obd2 scanner up and it reads code p0102. I notice that my car does not hold a good idle. Sometimes it will shut down by itself. Could this be anything other than a Mass Air Flow Meter?

According to my OBDII code reader it's the "MAF or VAF A circuit Low Input".

Indication that your MAF is fried, not connected or even severely dirty. Check each of the wires on the cable to make sure they look good and not frayed, pinched or broken. You can do more extensive testing of circuitry if necessary. Many times, simply removing the connector and reseating it corrects the fault.
