This might take a bit more than a day, was all week at the Long Beach Grand Prix (I'm directing a documentary for Bridgestone, yeah... what a job!) and came back to my office after 3 weeks off with so much to do, my head sounds like a supercharger in a Fiat 500...(high pitch mosquito-like sound)

Thanks, V2. No hurry, whenever you can get to it I will be most appreciative.

That does sound like an awesome job!

Why some of you are so quick to dismiss people who want to lower their car astounds me.

So long as you're picking a set of tried and true adjustable coilovers and you're rolling on upsized wheels (19s for the 996), lowering is a no-brainer. In fact, it's a must. It looks better and it drives better.

Don't assume when people say "wanna go lower" that it's going to be slammed like the Lincoln town cars rolling on dubs. I've run lowered cars for 6 years and I have no trouble getting around public roads here in hilly Seattle. Just be careful. You develop a 6th sense for scrapage.

That's helpful, V2. I'm going to crawl under mine and do some looking around. Would love to see the mounting locations, I might try to make a rear plate myself...

When/where can I see the bridgestone documentary? racing involved?

+1.

I love the cup car look. Doesn't look 'slammed' to me when you're used to seeing it on the track that way.

Was already on the car, but I've seen it on-line and have looked and can't find it... I'm sure somebody here might know.
