Seriously, as I have said in the past to you (and to others) that your car is worth between 48-52K depending on how anxious you are and willing to sell. With the warranty you added, probably closer to 50-52. Sounds like I am spot on. See you in 9 hours.

 

55k is not an unreasonable price for a '02 4S. A twin turbo with a tip might be 59k but a decent one with manual will be 70k. Don't listen to these other guys, they just want to be in the I told you so crowd. Give it time and good luck.

ps I can understand bad knees and a tip tt , otherwise, I think it's just plain wrong.

 

Hey Targa....NOBODY said it was unreasonable. All everybody said was that it was HIGH for the car. Nobody said either that he could NEVER get 55K for it and actually wished him the best in his sale. You really need to read more before you start vomitting at the mouth. The last thing ANYBODY here wants to do is tell somebody "I told you so" when it comes to P-Car values and them getting less than they wanted. The whole pricing issue with Gant has almost become a side event that we love to play with him on and it has NEVER gotten to the point of hurt feelings, attacks, people getting banned, etc, etc, etc. It is all in good fun.

Besides, Gant is somebody we would NEVER wish a bad sale on. He has already been through enough to get to the point he is right now. I think he actually has been given an honorary comission in the US NAVY for his bravery.

Just callin it the ways I sees it. Wasn't really trying to stir up trouble, was just trying to give the guy some support. Didn't mean to ,umm, get you so excited. I suspect new 996'ers might be pushed away from this forum for fear of being called a thin skinned, vomit spewing troll more than by a poster trying to support a fellow 996er. You might want to keep that in mind.
