Default three separate 996 questions

so instead of making three posts and spam, i figured i'd go with one:

1. is there a DIY on how to remove the door storage lid cover? got aluma-look ones i need to put in (i know the u-shaped piece snaps off)

2. for cab owners: how do you clean windscreen? it seems to have the A/C filter affect of catching all the dust and dirt on the road. simply spray hose it?

3. the driver window has problems going down. it seems that the outside rubber trim has lost something (lubrication? rigidity?) and is getting dragged down with the window on its way down. fix under warranty or DIY repair?

thanks... extra points if you get 3/3 right

Regarding question #2, I run a moist wipe around the outer frame and then use the shop vac with a soft brush extension - you know, the circular one with bristles around the opening. Seems to clean up great. That said, I'll bet you could put a hose to it.

You WERE talking about a shop vac attachment.... correct?

Correct - I'm dangerous when I try to describe how I do something or fix something. I'm relatively handy, but semantics can screw me up. I usually refer to things "thingamabob and doohicky." I can show people how to do things better than describe them, so I need to be careful when I share advice.

I built my own back deck at my last house and it was level and sturdy, but man, you don't want me to tell you over the phone or an a message how to do it yourself...My conversation with the guy at Home Depot sounded like a Laurel and Hardie skit.
