Default Detailed Facelift Part #'s, please help me check and complete!

I am combing thru Rennlist and other sites and compiling a list of actual parts and the part #'s for a 02 facelift. I have some questions however, and could really use some help, please see the questions at the end. If some of you could verify these part #'s and help out with the missing ones that would be great.

Here's a list:

1999-2001 Conversion to 2002-2004 Porsche 996

PART DESCRIPTION

* 000.044.802.28 2002-2004 996 Aero II (GT3) bumper cover
996.503.031.03 GRV 996 2002 Left front fender
996.503.032.05 GRV 996 2002 Right front fender
996-631-059-20-M100 996 2002- Xenon headlight Drivers side

996-622-314-00-OEM 996 Right Headlight harness 996 2002-2004 Xenon
996-622-317-00-OEM 996 Left Headlight harness 996 2002-2004 Xenon
996.631.273.00 Clamping bow (2 req.)
???.???.???.?? 996-Bushing (2 req.)
???.???.???.?? CIR Clip (2 req.)

* Kit Part Number that Includes the following parts
964 505 103 00 G2X 1 x Cover cap for towing lug
999 651 225 40 1 x Securing cord
996 505 983 02 G2X 1 x Front spoiler, primered
996 505 986 02 G2X 1 x Spoiler lip; primered
999 507 497 40 21 x Expanding rivet (for fitting spoiler lip to front spoiler & fitting wheel housing cover)

Questions I have:

What is the part # for the Bushings?
What is the part # of the CIR Clip?
Wouldn't I need new Fender Linings as well? Or do they come when you order the above fender part #?
What about the control module for Bi-Xenons is that needed too?
Anything else needed?

In case you just want normal 2002-2005 Headlights (Not Bi-Xenon)
Lights Std
996-631-055-50-M100 Left
996-631-056-50-M100 Right

Yes, PET is great, but its a bit hard to just look at it and figure out the parts (for me anyways). Someone who has done the swap and has part numbers or can verify is what I am looking to do. Just make it all documented so the next guy has all the info.

If you don't have any luck finding a complete list just look for parts with a "02-" in the remark column.

MY02 came with new fender linings but you might be able to "mod" your existing set?

you need the bolts for the headlight trays (40 bucks each and you need 6!!)
you need a complete new headlight washer system.....not expensive (ask the stealer for a blueprint and order the whole thing!) I am talking hoses here!!
you need brackets for your sidemarkers. (cheap)
You should also get a new cover for the trunk (this is where you locks is sticking out off...is cheap!)

I asked the dealer to print me the schematics....so we could go over the #'s of the parts I needed and they did..I was lucky that the bodyshop who did the conversion was about 1 mile from the P-dealer.

Does anyone know if the wiring harness listed is really just plug and play? In other words you have 99-01 regular lights and now with that harness can just plug in the Bi-Xenons? I believe a control module is needed as well right? what about balasts?

I have heard the bolts for the headlight trays are like $44 each!

Let me know on the control module and balasts part #'s and I can add all this including the $44 bolts ot the parts list

Here is the latest update on part #'s. Please help me to complete this, any little peices that are missing especially if there is a significant cost (such as the lug nuts needed for the headlight mounts $44/ea x 6!!!!). There are alot of parts that show in PET, but I am assuming they come with the actual headlight, such as the bulbs, retainers, caps......someone correct me if I am wrong. I know I have to be missing some stuff still.

Thanks. One of the confusions is that people talk about numerous "wiring harnesses" to make 02+ lights work on 99-01 cars. They never seem to quote the part #!! I am trying to make this thread be the end all thread to a facelift, so when people search it, they have everything they need to know. Most threads leave out the fender liner stuff, but its in fact totally different on 02+.

I believe, not sure, that some of the luggage compartment stuff may be a little different, and I need to check on that, but the thread is here so others can help contribute thru experience. I am sure I have stuff left out.

Thanks signal...this really helps. I've been gathering the parts needed for the facelift, and you are right lots of facelifts on this site, but always missing part numbers......excellent thread!
