i am about to pull the trigger on a low mileage c4s. perfect except no xenons.
i can't figure out if it can done reasonably from this thread. Jeff at Sunset Porsche said that the 01 xenons will NOT go in.
this thread seems to indicate with 40.00 bolts it will.
can anyone clarify finally?

^ Nope. 2001 xenons are the old boxter style xenons. You need xenons from a 2002-2005 Turbo or a 2002 and up carrera/C4S. you need to make sure that the lights you buy are off the turbo/C4S/ 2002+Carrera and not an older style carrera/carrera4

The ONLY exception to that 2001 year thing are the 1 year turbos that have 2001 model years but still have the newer style headlights on em.

there should be a xenon retrofit kit you can buy to get your car xenons.

I have a set of these Hella lights but they point to low and at the ground. I found two holes on the side that have adjusting screws, one on top of the other. Since you have to take the assembly out to get to get to the adjustment, it's hard to do trial and error. Does anyone know how to adjust the height?
