Default Where to buy silver porsche crest?

I am interested in getting a silver (as opposed to gold) Porsche crest for my trunk lid. I have searched on Rennlist and in the past people mentioned getting these form Ralph Boothe. I emailed him and he does not have these. I also was told to ocntact dps-motorsport, but they do not have them on their site either.

Does anyone know where you can get a good quality Silver Crest? Was this ever an actual porsche part, or are all of these modded crests?

As VGM911 stated, Eric at Bumperplugs may have some. IIRC, the Silver Crests are "gray market" modded crests, but I could be mistaken.

Holy crap! $135 for a hood badge? Mine only cost $40 but that was back when these were readily available (before PCNA started cracking down claiming copyright infringement). I know, I know, law of supply and demand but $135 is highway robbery!

Thanks for the replies! I have seen some dull looking ones. The ones at bumperplugs.com are very brilliant, thats what I am looking for.

Maybe they aren't silver, maybe they are platinum! That would explain the price differential!

Brian, I got this silver crest from ebay for my 993 last year US$20 shipped to Singapore.
It look so good for the price that I just ordered another 2 pcs for my 996.

No affiliations, just trying to share, I think it's US$10 shipped in USA, you don't loose anything for that price.

FYI....the picture in the post above is NOT a Porsche oem hood crest. It is a STICK ON piece the mimics the crest.

You get what you pay for.
