Hi Guys:

I have a 99 c2 coupe car. It does not have a rear wiper. Would it be dificult to install a rear wiper?

I have a 99 C4 and I would be interested in putting one in too.

I'd be thrilled silly to have a rear wiper. It'd be cool to have one on the car, too.

Rear wipers look awful IMO........................and not really that functional in a 175 mph sports car with a sloping back!

Mine was removed by the original owner. I still have it. sitting in a box that came with the car. I do find it funny that I have the button and switch inside the car for it though.

I have never had a use for it as when I get moving the water clears right off the rear window.

In the couple of years I've had my car I can honestly say I've never used the rear wiper. I forget it's even there most of the time.

if anyone wants a rear wiper, i'd love to do a clean install (aka swapping my panel on the back with the hole in it for one that isn't). I will check to see whether it is welded on or just bolted on. If its doable...anyone interested in a swap?

Coming from someone living in Napa ... I had one on my 2001 C4 and in the winter that baby was damn useful.

I don't think it looks bad either.

Good point.......I'm sure in the winter climates it is very useful.

As for how it looks that is a personal thing, some like it , some don't.

I just think it clutters up the lines of a beautiful sloping rear end.

We DO stock the famous Wiper Delete Plug if anyone does remove their rear wiper.

Sorry, no Beyonce delete plug available at this time.
