Not much to choose from and I am pretty sure everyone on this forum is stock.

there a few companys making the mfor turbos nowadays, but you wont find many guys with built motors around here dude,

Why is that? You would think there would be mod motors all over the place?

Porsche engines are hand carved by gnomes from single billets of aluminum. You can't open them up.

cost/benifit ratio my friend. the stock rods and whatnot are all good for a supercharger at 8-10PSI...no need to change em. Areas for major power gains with the 996 motors that are cost effective: supercharger kit, cams/ecu package.

i wish it were like a honda or a mass produced american car where the cost of the R&D and manufacturing could be spread over a larger number of potental units sold thus bringing the price down. granted there is also the "porsche tax".

sorry..its late and i'm probably not being very coherent. bottom line is, no benifit unless youre building some crazy speciality motor for a spec class race series or something.
