Default RSS Plenums?

The link below is from a 6-speed thread.
If dyno is accurate, $1,000 for claimed HP & torque gains might be very cost effective compared to other options.
Has anyone here replaced their "plenum?"

Nice looking product but $1000 to get 15HP you won't even feel, I'll pass.

The dynograph posted showed 20+ hp and torque improvements to the wheels.
Not too shabby.

I contacted RSS about the cost and through out the idea of a group buy and they were interested in the prospect of that. If anyone is interested lets get a count and offer them a $. Better yet maybe we can get the $250 header dudes to make it for $125. Kidding, post interested parties on group buy. JW

for $1K is it better to do a reflash instead? if a reflash will give you about 25hp isn't that a little cheaper....?

The HP gains are at the wheel.
Check out the RRS link for the plenum page of their web site.
I think they made a couple mistakes as they have MY01 listed as a 3.6 liter engine.
I understand why HP/torque gains are so different between 3.4 & 3.6 liter but I don't get why the results would be different between a MY99 3.4 liter and a MY00 3.4 liter? Again, probably just a mistake. If I can get close to 25 & 25 with a full money back grantee (as stated by RRS on 6-speed) I'm in for a group buy.
Porsche_smile - flash won't get you close to 25 HP alone. You'd need exhaust, CAI, and headers to get anywhere close.
