996 seats in 928 - wiring help
I've completed the installation of my new 996 seats into my 928. However, I still have questions on how to hook up the power. Nobody seems to have any suggestions and I cannot find a wiring diagram or anything for the 996 seats anywhere.
At this point I don't care about hooking up the heated feature and the memory feature - I just want power to the seats. Does anybody have any idea which wires to splice? Do I need to run new wires? Some people have said I can just use the positive/negative hookups from the old seats...some people have said I have to run new wires. I know a few people have done this swap and I would really appreciate any help I can get on this topic. Since the drivers seat is reclined all the way forward I can't even drive my car until I get this figured out. Thanks.

Casey - I checked the PET I have for the 996 and it didn't have the wiring detail you are requesting. Sorry I couldn't help. You might want to ask Loren on renntech.org.
