Default PSS9 guys....what are your settings?

All this talk about PSS9's and suspension, I decided to adjust my settings since mine were a little soft....so I adjusted them (damn it was easy) to 4 front 5 rear....so I am wondering what everyone else is riding on....I was at 6/7 and it was a little soft for the canyons....

I was talking to the guys at All German Auto about pss9 settings (don't have them yet), and they said that they like setting them at 2, 2. I wondered if that was too hard, but they said that they were "perfect" like that and recommend that setting.

2/3 on the street, 1/1 on track. If you have an aggressive alignment you might want to go a little softer on the street.

5 in front 1 in rear. H&R sways front and back. That was my track set up, dialed out almost all of the understeer. I don't track my 996 anymore but that's the way I am leaving it for the street.

I'm not sure what your alignment is, and how much you've messed around with it, but you might try more negative camber up front as an alternative method to take out that understeer. That should allow you to firm up the front some, or soften the rear, whichever you prefer. Just an idea, again with no idea what you've explored.

My sense was that 1 is far from 2, and that 9 is far from 8, but that in the intermediate settings (2-8) there's less variance from one to another. As a result I'd guess that you won't see much difference between 6/7 and 4/5. Does anyone have grounded observations on this? I've only spent serious time in the range between 1 and 3.

Thanks but I've had the oem alignment, track, and now aggressive street. My car handles much better than any other 911 I've driven. Very neutral, doesn't push the fronts. I may not get as long out of the tires but I don't care! And yes I have negative camber up front.
