Default K Sport or D2 RS coilover...... ever heard of it?

Anyone here know, hear, or tried one of these coilovers set before? some feedback would be great.. i wanted to go with the PSS9 but for about $2500 it's not too cheap, and the Row M030 looks like a viable option, but NON adjustable just makes it look like a nice shock and spring set up only... so what do we know about the

or the D2 RS Coilover...

D2's used to be very poor in quality for the street because they would get noisey and would work poorly in winter...S13/S14 owners didnt like them. they have since switched suppliers or refined their manufacturing process and made them acceptable... if this will be a DE car then you may find em quite good for the price...otherwise...PSS9's or an OEM suspension setup are best bang for the buck as far as street or street/light track use go.

if you have any experience as far as japanese car tuning goes...the ranking would probably be something like this from top end to middle to low end

Ohlins, Motons, other gangster race suspensions
JIC, High end Tein (RA's, track masters, etc), Kei office
Cusco, Tein, PSS9's
Stance, Megan Racing, D2 Racing
the rest (aka stuff that belongs on nothing better than a ricer civic)

that's sort of an approximate ranking. i've got a good friend with a very fast/compeditive race car and he has D2's with his own spring rate and is quite happy with em.

I would only consider options that are from 996 owners on cars used how you will be using it...if for mostly the street, then go PSS9's...hardcore tracking....JIC's....In my research, there are no other viable options....

^ remember, the ROW 030 will come with different swaybars from your car if it has non-sport suspension.
