I will need to go and check it out to be sure (just driven through Lambertville about an hour ago
). Only issue around there is it is a tourist trap and gets really busy at the weekends and everyone is putting up signs and charging for parking ($15 a day is the going rate!
).
Another close alternative might be Washington Crossing state park which has tons of free parking and is much closer to I-95 for those travelling in. Downside is no cafe but we can always get some volunteers to bring in coffeee and donuts......we have a few weeks to work out the details so I will take a look at both of those.

So the parking lot that appears to be associated with the canal park isn't?
I agree, washington crossing might work if parking in Lamberville is an issue.

Subscribe to this thread and you'll get the updates as we post, then I'll also send out a reminder once we get all the arrangements finalized.
The start/end is the hard part and we mostly have that. Getting the route is the easy part.

Lambertville is a nice spot, and the route along 32/611/209 is a beautiful ride along the Delaware. good to hit it early though , as getting stuck behind a slow poke can be frustrating.

I'm in! Lambertville/New Hope would be great. The wife and I are there often in the spring/summer. The area is an even better end point as there is plenty to do/eat after a good run.

I immagine I'll be looking for ANY excuse to break her out of the garage by that time, and this sounds like a great way to start off....

Microsoft Streets and Trips is a great software tool to utilize in planning fun runs and is much better than Mapquest or Google maps. MS Streets and Maps also has the capability to transfer the info to GPS systems.
Polling the ladies for an upcoming Spring Tour, they prefer a strip map instead of a turn by turn map. I asked the ladies because they are typically navigating.

April 15th is a ways away. I will try to make it. Not sure what car to bring but there is time to decide.
Thanks looking forward to meeting everyone.
