Default 40th anniversary question

I am in the market to trade my 01 Boxster for a newer 911. I spotted a 40th anniversary 996 on the Tucson dealers web site. The car looks like it would be perfect for me except for the fixed rear spoiler. Did this come standard on the car or was it an option? Could the car be converted back to the normal spoiler?

7200 miles im in NNJ --always garage--no snow-
Im the original owner--b&m short shift-orig exhaust/pse/and fabspeed muffler bypass--oil changed 3 times-- brakes flushed-- luggage a bunch of 911 40th propaganda
i thinking $65k-- I have just started the process of detatching myself from the car for a bigger family sedan rocketship
