Default 996 for sale - ORANGE

I usually deal in the 993 arena, but my partner bought this yesterday. Here are the details as I know them

2001 Porsche 996 C2 Cabriolet
Hardtop
Color- Orange Pearl (Metal flake in the finish)
Black interior
6 Speed
1 Owner
24,600 Miles
Xenon Lights
Wind deflector
Tires –excellent

I am posting on the 996 forum as well. I have all the option codes, but haven’t deciphered them yet.

288 424 437 438 448 490 501 513 537 551 580 859 896

See if you like the color. I like it a lot. Don't ever see this color.

Do you specialize in used cars or something?

By the way, that looks like Zanzibar Red.

I buy a few nice pieces and bring them back. I really do the 993's. The color on the sticker is "ORANGE ROT PEARL"

I did the black one in my avatar this year. I did a Fly Yellow one just like it last year.

Fly Yellow? Sounds hot!

FYI...that is in FACT the color Zanzibar Red. Paint Code 1A8 signifies that.

No such thing as Orange Pearl. You just translated literally when all it says is Orange-Red Pearl Effect Color....aka Zanzibar Red

Thanks for the info. I'll let him know. Like I said I just really do the 993's and am at a loss with the 996's. So was Zanzibar Red a special order color? I have heard of it before so it probably isn't. Thanks again for the info.

Mike

BTW here is the Fly Yellow car I did last year

Thanks again for the info. Nothing worse than marketing a car that you can't describe correctly. Have a good day and again, THANKS.

I don't know if Porsche ever had a "Fly Yellow" - but that's the name of the classic Ferrari color. I could be wrong but Arena993 may be batting 0 for 2 on color.

The 993 that was Fly Yellow was a special order from the factory and I have the window sticker showing the color. The color sticker even says "FERRARIGELB" Gelb being yellow in German. I know I am right on that one at least/ LOL. I do know the 993's
