None.

Your money is better spent on something else for your car.

Agreed - for $1000 you can get a far bigger bang for your buck.

The M9603 engine does not respond to simple chipping. You will waste your money.

The M9601 engine of the pre-02 996 will respond to a good chip, exhaust, etc.

There is no limiter.

....and what in the world are you doing bumping a thread just 2 hours after the first response. Not sure what goes on in your head jersey but man, your etiquette has just stunk around here. Maybe English isn't your first language, maybe you are a New Yorker , or maybe your CAPS LOCK key is broken.

btw, the NY thing was a joke.

chpping w mods won't improve output huh? why so when pre-facelist gets a bump in HP and not 3.6L? can someone elaborate? is it variocam + or DME optimization done on 3.6L?

There are not huge gains to be made in hp with the 3.4L motors. You simply cannot expect GM type of hp bumps with simple chips and exhaust. The M96 01 motor can be tuned to be more driveable and have a modest hp increase. I don't have the details of why the M96 01 motor can be better tuned and not the M96 03. I've done some research with trusted U.S. Porsche shops. Steve Weiner and has been invaluable in this regard.
