Default Another Ft Bumper question: GT3 and RS

I understand that the GT3 bumper will fit a stock 996 C2. Will a GT3 RS bumper fit as well ? It's not much more expensive...

The only difference I see is the 3 openings on the bumper just in front of the hood... But I like those!

Thanks !

I am pretty sure the GT3RS front bumper will fit the C2 with no problems. You're not making full use of the three vents though unless you get/have that third radiator. Let me know where you're going to buy yours from. I'm in the market for one too and a deal is always appreciated.

I think some companies offer this bumper in fiberglass but I am looking for polyurethane.

There are also 2 styles available from what I have read,
- one where the wire mesh covering the 3 holes is simply butted up from the bottom and you see more of the holes and edges of the holes. Not a clean look!
- and one version where the mesh is actually molded and comes nearly flush with the outer surface.
I have an aftermartket, and they said they would simply cut the holes out of my normal one for about a $100 more dollars. That scared me from going that route. Make sure you find out the details on one you are buying.
ps, mine is fiberglass.
Good luck with your hunt,
RB
