Default car cover

I am looking to buy a car cover for my 99 996. I am moving to MD in a couple weeks and I wont have a garage to park the car until I find a permanent place to stay. Does anyone have any advice on what car cover to buy and where I can find the best price? I found this one http://porsche.parkplacestores.com/carcovernew.html

Any suggestions/comments?

Thanks,

Jarrod

Looking through the Covercraft site here will help with fabric care, and qualities type information (see link at bottom to PDF):

http://www.covercraft.com/cover_fabrics.htm

I previously had a Weathershield based cover for an M Roadster and it performed very well for me in rain, snow, etc., and the listed price is reasonable based on what I paid. For me personally, I'm not into the "advertising" on the hood as to what's underneath.

Go to www.autoanything.com. they have good prices on Covercraft covers. I use the Evolution 4 fabric cover for my Volvo when I park at work.

Always had good luck with California Car Covers. I've owned four, two different cars (Audi and Porsche) and had an indoor and outdoor for both. Goes without saying, you can only put the cover on very clean car. Good luck in MD and finding a garage for your baby.

I have a Beverly Bay car cover - http://www.beverlybay.com/car_covers.htm

A very nice car cover - I think I bought mine on Amazon. Buy one size larger than you think you need, as the covers tend to be snug. I believe I bought the 15ft cover, even though the car is around 13.5ft and should have taken the 14ft cover.

I just ordered a Coverking "StormProof" through Pelican Parts for the Massachusetts winter snows. The Weathershield (?) you linked was also in the running, but I went with the former because it seemed to be more heavy duty. I don't have the cover yet, so I can't review it, but I can tell you I paid $215 and it better be as good as I think it is.

I used to live in MD, and the winter tended to be wet, though not always snowy. Good luck!

exlondoner, California car covers again. No relationship here. They can custom cut a cover for you. These covers all fit very well which is important in a winter blow and look better in you garage for that matter.

You may need to go custom...since I have the full aero on my cab, the car cover I have was made for my car. I am not sure 100% tho...
