Mintex red box pads here....work great with a lot less dust than OEM pads.

I recommend getting new plastic inserts (between pad and brake piston) to ensure no squeal. Ask me how I know

You, too, huh? I think Metal Masters are too "old school". The newer compounds with carbon/kevlar/ceramic in them are much better.

I have had nothing but dust with Hawk HPS, both on the 996 and on my S2000. I won't buy them again.

Whatever you do, put a little anti-squeel gel on the back of the pads. It's cheap at the auto parts store and should help the noise.

As they say, YMMV. I should have mentioned that I used the HPS pads on track, with very disappointing results.

Yes, would not consider them for the track . I use carbotech for that.

i got mine at automotion.com. they produce less dust but don't expect the best braking. i would say it is at least on par with oem pads though.

it doesn't have the same bite as a BHP or hawk pad. these pads have a higher cold bite than the mintex but produce dust. i said the mintex is at least on par with oem.
