Olaf: Congrats on your purchase! That is a very nice car and I bet it was a very smart purchase. IMHO and in all seriousness I'm not really impressed with the Bose system in my car, even though it is a nice setup in the car, especially the rear subwoofer enclosure (I have a coupe as well), the sound is nothing to be impressed about. My 1999 Ford Exploder's standard stereo has better bass and sound, than the Bose in my P-car (And I'm not kidding!).
The best part about the Bose is when I turn it off and listen to the glorious music emanating from the engine and exhaust!

I have an upgraded Bose in my car. It's not great, but really good enough that I have better things to spend my mod $$ on. I did order the new Logic 7 system on my wife's 328xi - I'm hoping it's better.
