Default 996 window operation

This is a simple one: Where do I look for screws and 'pop-outs' to remove my 996 door panel. I don't want to just start tugging or prying on it. The pass window does not pull down that fraction that takes it below the weather strip. jVm

search the internet for "boxter window motor replacement" I found a great description of how to get the door panel off. Took me about 40 minutes to get it off, reading the directions very carefully, and then about 10 minutes to get it back together. Piece of cake. Good luck

These may be the instructions Joes C4 Cab is referencing.

Thanks Guys, I'm not totally familiar with many of the latest acronyms- like "PNE". If that means the one-touch-down feature, yes, it works. The window/regulator goes thru it's drop down routine but the glass sticks a bit and often does not clear the wx-strip. Once the door is open the glass can be pushed the last bit. It looks like the reg just is not pulling it down, more like just dropping out of the way. I'm hoping something is just loose as some have found regarding other window problems. Sorry, I don't know what is involved in re-calibrating the window. Maybe once I get the panel off...going to Gotta 911's site now. jVm

IF THE ONE TOUCH WORKS THEN ITS CALIBVATRED
CALIBRATING IS PERFORMED BY HOLDING THE BUTTON DOWN FOR 15 SECONDS AFTER THE WINDOW IS DOWN THEN UP FOR 15 AFTER ITS UP THEN DOWN FOR 15 AFTER ITS DOWN AGAIN
ITS LIKELY THAT THE REGULATOR IS FAILING AND YOU WILL NEED A NEW ONE ITS FAILRY COMMON
