POSERS BEWARE!!!! If you manually put your spoiler up with the switch when you are driving under 75 mph cops could think you are speeding. LOL (old joke)

I have actually thought about this when passing cops while driving below the speed limt with the tail up. I wondered if they were smart enough to know that I was recently exceeding 75mph. Oh well, if they pull me over I'll just use the poser defense.

Damn! I never realized that.... The area we have them is so screwed up with construction that it's unsafe to push the speed limits.

Well, no, it means 'I was speeding for at least long enough for my spoiler to engage and you didn't catch me"

So to rehash the old subject, are owners with fixed wings perma-posers?

I'd love to see the look on the faces of cars around as I "get wing" but I'm outtta there too fast.

I imagine it'd be like, "Gert, did you see that?? Dayum, our Kia don't have no wing"

i played with my rear view alot and I still cant see it- I know that it works cause i played with the button- I always get on the highway and get up to 75 (quickly) and then slow down just because i know that its up.

Us Targa owners also can't see the wing go up or down. Different rear glass and then distortion when the Targa roof is open. I use the white van trick too though......

Plus, in hot weather I admit to manually deploying it. Don't think that's poseur, just like to keep the engine cool.

Happy motoring!

Guilty as charged, do it. My brother-in-law is a cop, I'll ask him if "they" know about the deployment speed...Will be a great Thanksgiving table discussion. His dad is the man under the Sheriff. Speeding tickets usually taken care of.

Don't worry Nicalaas, coupe owners can't see the full spectrum of the sky.

Ahh, the sky is overrated, just gives you skin cancer. There's way more fun to come from seeing the spoiler go up and down.
