2000 - C2 Tiptronic

Bone stock

Foot braked launch with about 1200RPM stall (thats all I could get out of it before it started to push the car through the stage)

40 degrees F with low humidity

13.97 @ 102MPH

Thats all she had folks, I couldnt squeeze another once out of her. Pretty disappointed since my friends 350Z with a 6spd did 13.98. As for the intake, it probably wont do you any good, more of a sound difference than a performance gain.

The quickest I have seen in a magazine is 13.0 for a Mk I and 12.9 for a Mk II (both stock).

I ran 13.7 @103, but I missed 3rd(I only had the car 1 month). Evom's and Giac were my mods. A 12.7 stock is not going to happen on the East Coast even in October. One would have to power shift at the least not to mention, getting rid of all the dead weight like the spare, dropping your tire pressure and dumping the clutch.

You'll run a 13.5 easy if you're an average driver.

That would be along the lines of "Zu mir das ist scheißegal."

Not sure about posting a very long URL, but a nice article (auf Deutsch, though) is available as a free PDF download from autobild.de. Charts of 0-100 km/h-0 times.

I a curious as to where did you see a Porsche published time of 12.7 for a NA 996? That sounds really optimistic. The range that I have seen is 13.2 to 13.4 from the searches I did when buying my car recently. These would be for the 3.4 variants.

Motor Sport recorded a 13.0 for the 3.4 in Feb 1998

Autocar recorded a 12.9 at 112mph on the Mk II (3.6) in Dec 2001
