Default OT.........a message,,,from my "younger" brother.

Hey guys, I love my brother and we get along great. He needed to unload some stuff so I BOT his motorcycle and here is his advice( remember he is a division 1 lacrosse athelete and ten years younger than I):

The bike loves whistling through cool, brisk air (with tires warmed),
and hates idling in the heat (it'll get real hot under the seat). It
needs more consistent TLC than the Beemer. Getting this on a dry road,
this time of year will be perfect. I will bring you a sweet tank bag,
jacket and gloves next week.

My only message to you:
Careful please. Wear a helmet (a Jacket, and gloves too). Gear up like
you'll "Go-Down", every time you twist the key. Protect the brain, Use
the brain. Don't ride angry, clear the mind. Don't try to break the
sound barrier. I'll bet triple digit speeds on the Daytona are easier
to obtain than in your C4S. No racing. Don't try to pass more than 15
cars at a time. Watch the sand. I know you're a great
driver/pilot/rider... Please remember, I consider myself to be a decent
rider too... I am a good athlete, I have good reaction times, good
vision, and I still screwed up badly (almost real real bad) years ago.
Also, I wouldn't lend this out as freely as the old put-putt Beemer.

I'd be shocked if you didn't know this stuff already, but I have to say
it once.

Take care brother Steve, see you next week.

YOU GOTTA LOVE THE PEOPLE THAT LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heed his advice, I've had a M/C license since the mid '60s, got a GSXR, Buell S1, and a bunch of Harleys. I roadraced them for 8 years, broke lots of bones, hurt when it gets humid, still ride 'um. Have lots of fun but remember if you don't ride regularly you may have a better chance of going down than after you have been riding a while. Over cofidence can be your enemy.
